Kinsey sat in the back driver’s seat of Isaac’s car as he directed it towards Cook’s Diner. The guys, just back from a short series of shows, were occupying the rest of the vehicle, Zac next to her and Isaac behind the wheel with Taylor occupying the passenger’s seat.

“So, anything interesting happen while we were gone?” Taylor asked, fiddling with the radio until he got his hand smacked hard by Isaac.

“How many times do I have to slap you before you just keep your damned hands off my stereo?” he questioned sharply.

“No,” Kinsey answered, remembering just how horrendously bored she had been the entire month they were gone, “School sucks. Fricking boys suck. Tif spends all of her time with her stupid boyfriend. You guys can’t leave me any more, seriously,”

“Is Heath really that bad?” Isaac asked, referring to Tifani’s latest boyfriend.

“Yes! And his name is Heath. I mean come on!” Kinsey ranted, throwing her hands up in the air.

“Oh boo-hoo. No one likes Kinsey,” Taylor mocked, “Now aren’t you going to ask us if anything interesting happened?”

“No,” Kinsey replied blandly.

“Don’t. Ask,” Isaac said sternly, seeking out her eyes in the review mirror.

“Seriously… don’t,” Zac groaned. But, after they had gone to such an effort to keep Kinsey from asking, she then had to know and promptly asked.

“Okay spill, what happened? Did Zac fall off his stool again? Did a fan go nuts and jump on stage and start humping one of you?” she asked excitedly, assuming that it was something really embarrassing if they were trying so hard to keep it from her.

“You shouldn’t have asked…” Zac sighed as Taylor perked up to answer.

“I had an interesting night last Saturday,” Taylor said proudly.

“Just shut up, Taylor! We’re not going to let you talk about it in front of Kinsey! Just get over it!” Isaac scolded.

“Get over it? I finally had sex and you’re telling me to get over it?” Taylor demanded and Kinsey felt her jaw go slack.

“You what?” she asked, “With who?”

“Her name was-” Taylor started.

Was? Is she dead now? Did seeing you naked make her vomit so hard she died?” Kinsey asked and Taylor continued, ignoring her completely.

“Her name was Brandi-” he attempted to begin again.

“Sounds like a whore,” Kinsey rolled her eyes.

“She was,” Isaac and Zac replied in unison.

“She was not!” Taylor exclaimed.

“Taylor,” Isaac said, “She came up to you after the show, whispered something in your ear, and you practically ran out the door with her. That… is a slut.”

“Well, she told me she could fit her whole fist in her mouth. I wanted to see what else she could fit in there,” Taylor shrugged.

“Oh my god! I do not want to hear about you getting a blow job!” Kinsey complained.

You got him started on this,” Zac said, shaking his head at her.

“We went back to her hotel room and once she had proved her statement true to me, things progressed nicely. She asked me if I had a condom and I said yes,” he continued.

“Oh well at least you did that,” Kinsey scoffed, “You didn’t even know her, Taylor! She could have had STDs!”

“She did not. Trust me, if there was anything weird going on down there, I would have noticed. I spent enough time down there.”

“Shut up! What is wrong with you? I don’t want to hear about you… doing that either!”

“So what do you want to hear?” he asked.

Nothing! I’m sorry I asked!”

“We tried to warn you,” Zac sighed. Kinsey just made a talking motion with her hand at him and tried to get rid of the mental images Taylor’s words were forcing unwelcomingly into her brain.

“The only really bad thing was that apparently, she’s allergic to latex… that was awkward,” Taylor said, appearing deep in thought. Kinsey jammed her fingers in her ears.

“Stop talking! No one wants to hear about your slut’s freaking condom allergy!” she shouted, not removing her fingers from her ears.

“We are never talking about sex again,” Isaac said seriously.

“Agreed!” Zac chimed in.

“You guys are such prudes…” Taylor trailed off, letting his eyes focus on the passing scenery while Kinsey kept her ears plugged until the reached the restaurant.
